I have a 1997 honda accord wagon lx automatic currently with vtec f22, I have a low mileage vtec f22 with automatic tranny out of 97 ex I want to swap, not for performance reasons, just cause of high mileage. my question is: Do i have to get a different computer or other wiring or is there and easy way to hook up the ex vtec engine with minimal hassle so i can drive the thing. please let me know anything you can, if this question has already been posted let me know the post or link. thanks http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...35_30_full.jpg

you will need the computer from the engine you're swapping.
when it comes to swapping f/h engines in accord/ludes, the only wires needed, depending on application are; -vtec solenoid -vtec oil pressure switch -knock sensor only the h22 and h23 require the knock sensor. since you are already vtec, you dont have to worry about the first two. since the spare engine you have is the same year and is still vtec, then it should swap right in without any problems.

o, ok.
then, ignore the parts about not needing to wire anything vtec related.

One, it is spelled VTEC not "vtech" and two you might want to start your own thread
