Default 6th gen engine swap

Hey what's up guys. I have a technical question about a 1998 Honda Accord LX coupe. This is my first time on this site and I just typed all this in the blog spot go figure. I'm a technician for Mercedes Benz so I have some technical knowledge, but not to much with Hondas. Well the original engine was a 2.3L vetc LEV engine but it blew. So I was put in a F23A4 which I believe is the 2.3L vtec ULEV, I also put in a ULEV PCM. Now I borrowed the ETM book from Honda and I noticed the pin outs were arranged differently so I moved some wires around to try to make it oem. I cleared the codes, but CODE 41 keeps coming on when the key is in circuit 15 key on like the PCM is looking for some kind of reading. I remember a couple of years ago someone posted something about installing a 10K ohm resistor to trick the PCM. Can anyone out there help me please. Thank you.
