I recently got an 87 Accord Hatchback and I want to know how to enhance its performance. Can anyone help?

Sell it and buy a newer car maybe?

There's not really a lot you can do with the pre-1990 Accords. If the engine is healthy and it's not fuel injected, then maybe some carbs and nitrous? Or you can try doing a B-series swap, I've seen a few of those in the older Accords.
