also they make performance carbs for the a20 engines they are made by weber. also i seen a recent mag that had an 87 accord hatch with the fuel injected engine but the a20 i believe. that thing was bad ass. it was boosted and everything haha i think it was modified mag or superstreet. one of those two

I'm having second thoughts about this. I may just sell and buy a 4th gen prelude with the H22. I just need to get a sunroof color because I'm doing racing stripes anyways.

INCORRECT. The B20A5 tilts the wrong direction. It will NOT fit.

I'm now thinking about just selling and buying a 4TH gen Prelude with the H22. Look out for it in the Prelude section.

Um if you are swapping the motor you aren't really showing anything except that you can swap the motor. If you really wanna show that you will find parts for that motor.

You said your car is carb'd. Good luck converting your car to FI. You're wasting time and money. I know you want to be unique but this really isn't worth it in the least

Next time start your own thread please. As for your question, yes, like the other guy said, just go to a junkyard and look for another LX-i Accord from the same generation. There aren't any other transmissions that will easily swap in.

Wasn't everyone saying that it would be unique to roll around in the accord either way? I mean seriously how many 88 accords do you see driving around with any performance work done? Hardly any, plus it would be bad ass to see a honda that was pushing some decent horsepower that came stock with a carb.

a swap jus seems to take the meaning out if it. deep down its really not a 3 g when ur runnin an H series. those cars do have balls, almost any car has balls if u wanna put em in. the problem with that car is that there is very little aftermarket support. building an a20 is a lot of patientence, but they can come out nice when u put the work into them.

The one on the far left is (was, got totalled in accident) mine. 86 four-door.

Had the usual IHE with the DC Sports header, camshaft made by a group called Openloop out in CA, custom cam gear, MSD SCI ignition, adjustable shifter, throttlebody was bored out a few extra mm. I also had some other goodies for it... ECU from Europe (emissions are completely ignored... I could run without an O2 sensor with that thing!), REAL JDM tail lights, not the shit from eBay. Betcha didn't know there were JDM pieces for this car

They match the car's lines better than the horizontal US style with all amber on top and all red on bottom.

The neatest overseas option are the power fog lights. Watch...

Those will cost you money.

Mugen parts! Wish I could find 'em... especially the VariableSUS.

Wow, I totally never realized there were such parts available for the third-gen Accords. Those foglights and the adjustable suspension are flippin' sweet!

Nice car by the way!

Thanks Unfortunately someone went through a stop sign and t-boned the passenger rear door and b-pillar... can we say "crumple zone"? Guy hadn't gotten in an accident since 1954 according to the police. Wow... and I had to be that guy. But with all clouds comes a silver lining.

89 SE-i, two door, five speed. Hardest one to get apparently. What the SE-i is to a third gen, the Si is to a Civic. Four wheel discs, bronze tinted glass, leather interior, 14 inch alloys... all the trimmings. It's also the lightest of the three styles. I'm slowly moving all the parts from the old car to this one... slipping a part in here and there when the weather permits.
