Exclamation 93 accord EX wont rev past 3500rpm

I have a 93 accord EX sometimes it takes a minute tot start and the check engine light comes on (mostly when its not warmed up) when the check engine light comes on it wont rev past 3500rpm's just like it hitting the revlimiter when the light isnt on it will rev right up past 3500rpm's no problem the car is 100% stock

ANY IDEAS?

If you cant do any research than no one will help your worth less ass. Man How many times have you used a search button. No one is just going to tell you how to do every thing to your car.

You coming here with a bad attidude isnt the best way to get answers to the dumpest questions ask . I bet if you type 93 accord check codes. in that thingy called a search bar. Whether it be google. Yahoo, aol, ect. It will pull up 239,456,452 web pages about others asking about , how to's, INFORMATION !!!!! All about your issuse.

You have to try man . Were not your slaves here. I know how to get your code from your car . But with the bad attidude you have with me and others . I am not going to share anymore information with you .

Only who come with some kind of COMMON SENSE gets treated as a fellow hondaswap member. Change your attidude , do some research , and oh STOP HAVING BABIES.....

being a search nazi helps no one.
theres a 2 pin connector in the passenger kick panel, connect the 2 together with a paperclip or scrap wires. turn the ignition on. the check engine light will flash. count long pulses and 10 and short as 1, ie: if it flashed 2 long pulses then 3 quick ones that is code 23. it will repeat if that is the only code or show another if there is another code.

93 Accord EX Check Engine Light - ?!? CODES ?!?

93 Accord

How To -auto To Manual

As for you making a comment of being a search NAZI- you sir can kiss my ass. I help out anyone and everyone that doesnt make a complete ass of there self. Even then I posted HOW-TO links for the guy . Showing him, teaching him , that he can get the answers alot quicker than asking and awaiting others response. But after the first few comments of laziness that the op implied. Also the bad attidude he had toward others . Would you help someone that cant help themselves ??

Either way I could care less

2.2L, i hope when i have a question that someone like you will answer. i don't have a 93 accord (but i had an oldschool '86 for a while) and i don't know anyone who does. but i know that after reading your post here i'd know wtf to do if i had one, and i know i'd appreciate your saving me hours of looking at stuff i'm not sure is what i need to find the one thing i really do. thanks for that. if no one else thanks ya, i at least appreciated it and hope that hostile 'search nazis' are an infrequent issue here at hs. ideally we'd all know this stuff without having to ask or search. but we don't, and thus - hondaswap.

danoob (on hs).
