98 Accord F23A4 trouble
Guys, Just purchased a 98 with 2.3 Ulev 5 speed. Not a running car. Motor looks like it was replaced. Seller says it needs a starter, symptoms are no output at starter. Disconnect clutch pedal switch and get output, but starter does not engage flywheel. Replaced starter and same thing starter drive spins but does not engage flywheel. HMMMMM......
1- Is there a difference between flywheel from 2dr and 4 dr? 2- If the timming is way off will it cause this prob? 3- Do I have to rip the motor out and trouble shoot? 4- If yes to 1 or 3 does anyone want to buy a used 98 Accord. Thanks, bcn3878 |

The flywheel should be the same for both body styles. It's the exact same engine and transmission...
