Default H22 Slow Acceleration

Hey Everyone, i finished my swap as you all know, but my h22 is kinda slow on acceleration, i mean if i step all the way downon th egas shouldn;t it have enough power to do a burnout, well nope not my caer, so i was wondering if this is the way it is, or what could be the problem, i have no check engl=ine lights, and the car drives fine, the acceleration is okay, but i juts thought it would be a dramatic improvement over the stock f22b2 motor. help me guys.

If its jdm its not an h22a1 its just h22a. And it sounds like your using the h22 tranny, so It should peel the tires out like your saying even as an automatic. I dont really know what to tell you though since you have no check engine lights.

mmi forgot to ention i have 17 in wheel, with 45's on them so the overall tire diameter is bigger than factory, i know this will slow down acceleration but shouldn;t bey that much if i'm not mistaken.
naz...

uhmm.... do u do anything with the tourge converter or is it stock? id invest in a 2000 stall if i were you.... but did u make sure ur car even get full throttle? and i peel out with my stock d series with 17s and low pros.... i dont think u hsould have a problem unless u got treated drag slicks with 9 pounds of air in them... u can alos clean ur injectors/ fule rail. and buy a new air filter... thats aobut it.. but i strongly recoment a new torqe converter, it made the wold of differance in my Dart.... but hey... my darts 518 hp so... im not sure if it would help with ur car

Dunno about the F22b2 but the F22a a/t holds the H22 back due to its shift points. To get the performance offered by the h22, you need a trans that will boost the shift points to exploit the increased power band of the h22.

is there anyway to tell if the torque converter is going, and to clean the injectors should i just buy one of those injector cleaners that you add to the fuelk tank or is there better way.
