ok, ive read many forums, on many differant sites
... i am still confused about the h22 swap into a 4th gen accord... some sites say its a bolt in plug and play swap, some say you have to rewire harnesses, change to diff axles, and some say you have to do stuff to the tranny mount?? what really needs to be done and can some one please point me into the direction where they got theyre CORRECT information??? like, would either of these drop in and plug in?? no mods? If you get an OBD1 motor then the wiring should be easy. Basically you'll just need to add some wires for VTEC. It should be a bolt-in swap. You can use the Accord's mounts, but if the Prelude's mounts come with the swap I'd go for those. They're a little beefier then the Accord's...

you will need axles for the h22a swap the mounts will line up but i'd use the ones from a prelude and the obd1 wiring should clip right in you'll need to add some wiring and pin in the Vtech in the Ecu the axles being for the lsd transmission other than that its an easy swap i did it in a '95 Accord Ex

yeah you'd have to get axles that fit that tranny and the mount shouldn't need anymoding if anything just use what in the accord it'll all mount the same

you can pull one out of a prelude and take the mounts with it and that should drop right in nicely for you that'd be perfect only thing its a usdm instead of jdm thats it
