How do you get the needles off to install new gauge faces?

Generally you don't. Are the gauge faces flexible? If so, then you slide the center hole over the needle and install them that way. On some cars you can take the needles off. On most Hondas though, if you pop a needle off then your gauge is fooked. You can try sticking it back on but no guarantee that it will be in the right place...
