This is a discussion on need your opinion about a cam gear in the Accord forum
so my old man was trying to help and ended up breaking some of the teeth off of one half of the cam gear. (by half i mean since the gear has the plate in the middle that essentially cuts the gear across the plane ...

(by half i mean since the gear has the plate in the middle that essentially cuts the gear across the plane creating two equal halves. he broke off a few teeth on the front side.) Do you think that would be okay to keep using that gear or do you think it'd be necessary to get a new one? thanks |

| uhhhh sounds like you need another gear. and you cant use a gear missing teeth , your talking of breaking the motor completely using a fucked cam gear. OEM replacement cost 10-20 bux . get another one and save yourself the headache for later on. |
