Yeah, because it's bound to crack. Simply switching to the tubular header off the EX would be good.

What do you consider "easy"?

a stock exhaust manifold are very restrictive the insides are really small, the new header is large on the inside and has smooth bends allowing for more power a lot more actually you will notice the difference i would also get a good cold air intake

Don't just stop with the header. A more free flowing exhaust past the tailpipe will help. Basically a full 2.5 inch exhaust would help. I'm not sure about smog and emissions standards in wisconson, but removing the catalitic converter will make it a little more free flowing thus freeing up some more power. Usually run about $250 up. -Other simple things include a K&N air filter (much better flowing. 3-10 horsepower gains.) $45 usually. -underdrive pulley. basically it's a replacement for your stock crankshaft/accessory drive pully. It'll spin all the accessories (alternator, a/c, power steering) faster than needed, which will give your car about 5 more hp. $70 - $110 -removing the a/c compressor. Since you're in wisconson, I don't imagine it gets too unreasonably hot there that you couldn't survive without air conditioning. Doing this will free up some horsepower that is wasted in rotating the compressor. Also for a little bit of weight reduction, but not much. Somewhere around 5-10 horsepower could be expected. But if you were to do this though, you'll first have to get it drained by a professional Just a few pointers Good luck

Just to be safe if you do get a complete cold air intake, you might want to get a Bypass valve from AEM to be on the safe side, basically what it does is prevents the intake from sucking up water into the engine if you happen to go though a puddle. i would definately recommend it!

2.5" is a little on the large side for an unmodified engine(espeically a stock F22). Running a cat-less setup is usually going to be louder, and annoying. The gains are not that big unless you're running a well-designed header and one that is designed specifically for that application(long-length equal length runners, megaphone, etc.).

Look up the air box mod on CB7tuners.org

A lightweight underdrive crank pulley is bad for a large stroke motor. The stock pulley utilizes a damper that helps reduce torsional vibration. Many aftermarket underdrive pulleys do not have this(there may be some H22 ones but I do not know if they would fit an F22). Underdrive pulleys also underdrive the accessories; the engine turns them slower.

The A/C system in the Accord is pretty heavy(I believe it's around 65lbs when I took everything out). I'd only do this if you can live without A/C and are going to gut the car out(half of the weight comes from the HVAC/lines/drier). Also, the 90-93 Accords are HEAVY! It would be pointless to do a "mild" weight lightening; you''d have to go CF hood, aftermarket seats, etc(stock hood and seats are pretty heavy).

If anything, I'd just do cold-air intake or airbox mod, exhaust, header, H22A transmission, reground cam, .020" milled head, port-match intake manifold, P28 ECU and tune.
