my tranny (at least i believe it to be the tranny) locked up on me and i was lookin to replace it. a friend of mine dropped off a tranny for me and says it might work.... the tranny came out of a 93 civic, and i am not sure if they will line up. any advice will be greatly appreciated

It will not work, but first before you buy a tranny make sure it isnt the motor thats locked up.

The only way it will work is if you buy an extremely expensive adaptor plate, and that would be idiotic, since used F-series Accord transmissions are cheap. The only gearboxes that will easily bolt-up to your car are from H and F-series engines (minus the S2000 transmission)...

dude..go on the internet and get a tranny for an F series or an Hseries like Brutalb83 mentioned.
