Nice build. Looks like it will be fun. Find some Datsun 210 fans and whoop their ass.

This is a little newer then the one Bruce Willis drove in Pulp Fiction....right? That one was tiny! It would be a crazy build too.

What engine harness will you eventually use? Is wiring it going to be a bitch?

his was a 2nd gen to i believe but the 80-81 had round headlight where this one are square.im gonna use a obd2 ex wiring harness there just easier to work with being 1 piece, and the wiring really shouldn't be to bad because the car came with a carb on it so i should just be able to run power to the ecu and stuff and away i go lol,

So by one piece...are you saying from all sensors on the motor to the ecu? Yeah....that does sound easier. Are you gonna convert it to OBD1 at the ECU. Just wondering. Couldn't you also use an OBD1 harness but the Engine and under the dash harness...right? Maybe that's too much of a wire cluster F@ck but figured it would be OBD1 for tuning and trouble shooting.

Man, I wish I could have gotten to you sooner. Back in the day, we used to use the 86/87 accord trans and 2.0 short block and put the dohc prelude head on and it would pretty much bolt in the stock locations. The big drawback was 'making' a intake since the prelude has an angle to it. BUT the torque was great!
I talked to Adam Malley about the swap decades ago. He use to beat on camaros and mustangs. I think they even swapped the earlier prelude rear brakes for discs all around. Look into grafting the 86-87 prelude rear brake with control arms and center support. It's all there. You just have to fab it in.

E

Looks great so far!
