Great job, maby we could see this thing building some boost soon??

And where are all the video's?? You know these guys wanna hear it run ;)

*gah* I've been so lazy. I hate uploading vids...

Today I'll get them up.

And yeah, I know... I've got a baby face..... ;)
At least the ladies like it.. *

Anyway, thanks for all the comments guys... I can't wait to get it on the dyno too!

*haha... yeah right.

Actually.. the video you need to post is of some tire smokage.spinnage!!
Which, you really need a passenger to do that correctly.. So how about we make one this weekend? ;)

*psssst* your intakes hanging out

watch that #2 wire... looks awefully close to the header. meltage FTL. get one of those rakes/bridge cable holder things on there.

The intake is on there the way it is because it's really a CAI system, but it was just a temp thing and we were more interested in it actually running and driving than looks (IE, no hood). The filter is too big anyway.. Plus, it's MINE ;) It only needs to suck on a B series, not a D. :p

It'll be fixed by this weekend if he hasnt already done it. He was driving it last night so I would assume the hood is on and the intake is in the proper location.

No hood... :p

but I put a smaller filter on there, so it fits in behind the headlights(like a normal short-ram). I just am too lazy to take off the bumper to install the CAI and wutnot.

The sparkplug wires are not as close as it may seem. It's a good 4" away from the header.

Ohh yeah, forgot to mention my 'hick-up' with that...

I'll snap some pictures when I get home, but long story short, I had to loop the line, because i couldn't do a 'straight shot' from the firewall. the two AN fittings were touching!

I made it work, so just hang tight.

He was driving it last night so I would assume the hood is on and the intake is in the proper location.
No hood... :p

Exactly why I assumed...What a n00b :D

And yes, also relate the fuel spraying all over the intake manifold/engine problem. That was kinda fun
And the sparks arcing off the dist. cap...I think you got bit by it, yes?

Details mang..details. Let these guys know what happened!

Aight, well as we were starting it up for the first time, we left the fuel rail pretty loose(this is what happens when you have 5 guys on one D series.... you forget stuff), and so fuel sprayed everywhere.....

So we fixed that, onto the second problem... the dizzy was sparking on the cap.
Changed the dizzy with a EG DX one temporarily and fixed that(the z6 dizzy is on there now and no sparking. don't know what it was?)

And yes, while I was holding the z6 dizzy trying to time it by ear it bit me good.
Happy now?

And...

Swap your #1 wire with your #2 wire

Why would I want to do that?
I bet your thinking of the length of them, but I can assure you the picture is just misleading you, it's run right, and it's not as tight as it looks in the pic.

Fuel line:

fuellinesetup.jpg

The picture makes it look like it's rubbing on the firewall, but it's actually about a 1/2" away from it, and it's not touching anything else, so I'm happy with how it came out!

Oh, and I had a funny little problem today.

I checked the battery and it has a full charge, I didn't do anything under the hood but take off my intake to get a picture of the fuel line. The only thing I did, electronics wise, was unplug the Hazard fuse for a few seconds, and popped it back in to check my codes to make sure I wasnt throwing anything different than code 10.(IAT. I'm changing the plug out in the near future. Will it mess me up running with it not functioning right?)

What do you guys think?
