Are you tuning it on the dyno, or just doin HP runs?
If you're tuning, you'll want your exhaust to be on.

It's a Dyno day with about 20+ people, so we're only given 2 pulls. So no tuning:(

I've decided to install the few little parts I have and keep it that way.
I'm saving my money for my next project.

I'm looking around for another clean CRX and put an H22 in it, as a track car.

Dude.. Thats what the 240 is for!!!!!!!! Why do you want to BUY another car and a rather expensive engine when we already have evrything for a rather nasty and very inexpensive track car :confused::(

***Edit*** So pple know, we have the engine, the tranny, the car and the ability/resources to swap it in and make it run. All we need is a better carb.. Thats IT. Oh, and drag radials cause it should yank the front wheels.

I didn't say I'm buying one as we speak...
I meant thats what I want to do next.

Plus, the 240 will be a drag-only car. The CRX will be streetable, draggable, and autoX/road coarse... able. ^_^

What I meant was that my current crx will be my clean, smooth, DD, and the new car will be the car I take to most of the events in.

Thats cool. Do you really want an h22 in that thing though. How about a built gsr or something thats not so heavy.

Thats a bunch of BS. There not that heavy. There no more than 45lbs more than a GSR.

more power/more torque/less money = h22a.

:)

Hey.. I told Eli about what you wanted to do with the H22... You shoudl give him a call. He has some rather interesting info on H22 in CRX's.

All Eli had to say was the ol' famous "It's too heavy, it sits to low" crap.
READ fools! It's not as bad as everyone keeps saying. noobies :p

i would do it...

now you got me thinking...
heck i already have a shell
hmmm

With a 2" drop, the pan will sit 3 1/2" off the ground.

Formby, If I had your shell and everything laying around, I would do it in a heartbeat!

Shoot man. I should see how much I can get for this built Z6 as "trade in" money :p

now you're thinking crazy, but like a Honda owner.. always wanting more power.. i'd see if you could trade it for a GSR swap instead.. it'd be cheaper in the long run

How do you figure man?
My thoughts-

GSR- 2.5-3k + mounts&crap = around 3.5/4k
H22- 2k + mounts&crap = around 2.5/3k

Bolt ons + close to 1k
H22 will have ~200whp almost stock
GSR will have ~150whp almost stock.

Not to mention the low-end power[i'll go ahead and say torque =)]

Am I missing anything?
I think I'll be the only h22/crx in town. Thats another "+".

I'm not saying I'm not open to suggestions, but right now I like the looks of the H22.

I seriously was considering it, but I don't think I want to go into this motor again.

Plus, I want to work on another car. I'm keeping my eyes out for another CRX (Either an HF or SI)
