[/not an ego boost at all..... thx] haha

No Terrance, sorry, I just wanna get it in there!!! I'm gonna try and get Friday off work... I'll make it happen...

Heres how I wanna do the bolt ons (in this order): Intake, Exhaust, then the Cams.
Of course, thats how I'd like to do it... But you know how deals come along here and there...

Oh btw that reminds me... The other night a dude on TI was giving away some free stuff b/c he was moving the next day... so I called him at 10:30p and swung by and got a set of stock B16 cams, one had a gear, one didn't... and a LS mid/half- shaft....
I figure it can't hurt to get free stuff like that... How much are stock B16 cam's selling for these days?? ^_^

Sorry for the delay on the pictures guys.... here ya go

Videos up in a bit(probably later tonight)
-Andrew

I was actually pushing it a little bit harder than I normally do when I took those vids. I normally shift at around 7,000-7,400rpm. 7800 or so felt great :p

I crawled under there yesterday and was just checking it out, and it looks like I've got a little oil leakage. I at first though of the axle seal, but I'm almost positive it's engine oil, not MTF. It's only visible right at the axle/tranny connection point on the passenger side axle. I can't feel any wet oil dripping/running down on it from above,(on my D, it'd more than likely be a leaky vtec noid or dizzy. but on the B, the noid is on the exhaust cam, and theres nothing leaking...?), but it's definatly there.

Just another thing I've gotta do while it's out! So far on my list of things to work on/replace while it's on the ground is:

Axle seals
remove intake mani bracket
Seriously considering removing A/C.
But thats a hard decision to make here in FL, but we're almost through the "hot" season. Help me weigh my decision:

Pros:
-It would make the swap soooo much easier (less crap in the way)
-I never use it anyway(have the belt off for that reason)
-I'm used to NOT using it.
-Decrease weight.
-More room for slim fan to be hidden in front of the radiator as a "pusher".= cleaner bay.

Cons:
-It means I would 99.9% never re-install it in the car. (never again have the choice of hooking up the belt and getting it charged with freon and having A/C)
-I would say "it's hot", but like I said, I'm totally used to it... even when my A/C was connected, I still didn't use it very much.

It's obvious to me now, when I lay it all out like that, that it's probably a good idea to go ahead and rip it out.

I'll start up a fan-club. Hot Honda Crew #00000001

Yeah man.. Keep the AC. it's worth it. You'll have a hoe eventually and you'll need to keep her cool.

And that would be just plain absurd

1. thats why I'm buying a new 4 door car, doof.
2. that can wait 'till she's at the hizzouse.

Ohhhhh..... Vtak was nice.

That b16 in the Rex is gonna be killer. I say the very first thing you do is the IM swap. it's not gonna amke as big of a diff as it did in my GSR, but it'll be somethin that'll be fairly easy.

Nothing really. I use it jokingly. Thus why I say V-tak or V-Attack or whatever. :D

It's also a running joke among our friends. Whenever something is slow: " Needs more V-tec." Or really, whenever something goes wrong..V-tak is the answer :p

Stupid really.

If theres a guy in town with a S2 mani, I'll go ahead and pick it up if it's under $150.

Terrance just likes v-tackular power... before that he was only accustomed to threeOhtwo power...

Motors out

From the time I drove it into the shop to the time I pulled it out(with my dad's help on the hoist), it took me 3 hrs total.

Then I went out the RC practices... I didn't run my car, but turn-marshalled and chatted with the guys...

Heres the plan:
-Thursday after work I pull my car into the shop and start tearing it down. Get the motor out.
-Friday morning I'll gut the A/C.
-After that I'll drop in the B16.
-By this point my ECU should have a basemap on it. If not, this is where I'll get it to Max(tuner) and we'll get that together.
-Then I go pillage the tires on my rex

Hey! are you going to be selling that civic shell? I'm Jose. another thing, I can't believe you drove that civic. that car was very unsafe I drove it a couple of times. 1st, 2nd gear and that was enough for me. I needed aligment. Let me know if you will cosider selling the civic sedan. My CRX doesn't like me no more.

Well, Max isn;t gonna have the ECU untill later Friday evening.. He doesn't get off work untill 7:00 or so.

And it's looking like I'll be up there sometime Friday morning, I'm probably gonna have to help out your dad with the tile Friday some, I dunno. We'll see.see you pulled it out though.. it'll make things go much quicker Friday ;)

I think Terrance was going to try and paint it.
After he paints it we'll probably drop a cheap D-series in it and sell it.
If Terrances doesnt want it, I'll sell it to you...
(waiting for Terrance to chime in and let us know if he wants to paint something..)

The allignment was fine, it was just the allignment of the steering wheel that was off. The car drove straight as an arrow for me. Plus it had a couple new tires.

does the ac compressor work? i wonder if its the same as my sohc compressor my ek came with?
