Oh I gotcha. See? your just such a big influence on me!! Next I'll be doing Gold with Black lettering
![]() Sorry for not posting up much stuff in here fellas... I'm about to do some photoshoots with my buddy (He just got a new wide-angle that we'll mess around with), so I'll get some visual's up here soon. Plus I think, like Terrance said, we'll be going to the track(drag) this or next weekend. I'll see what I can do on street tires. I think I'm expecting around a 15.0 @ around 94 maybe? we'll see. FYI, This is the track I ran my D16Z6 on.. remember guys? Heres the highlights: 2-17-07 ![]() ![]() ![]() So we'll see... I couldn't trap any 60' lower than 2.4 b/c it was so slick, I would just spin SO bad, but, it was my first time at the track, so IDK what will happen. Of course you guys will find out soon enough... -Andrew |

I wonder if I could just mount 'em on the ol' Fat Fives for the weekend? It would be what... $6 per tire, so $12/pair, $24 after I take them off next week. It'd be like a $25 rental... idk.
What do you think about that idea? |

Hey so I went out to the meet last night... Heres how it went down.
I'd been there about 30 min chillin talkin with Dustin(Fluffer Ej1) and Arty G... Pop my hood & find out my engine is a 1989 model (stamping on the head). Shut hood. 2 seconds later a redneck comes up to me and asks, "whats in the rex?" (this guy has a stock civic with bolt ons) "Single cam", says Dustin "Tyte, What do you run?" "15.6 or so on the D" I said "cool. wanna race?" "sure" ..... Dig- 3 cars 40 roll- 2-2 1/2 cars End of night. ![]() Should've asked to run for $20 or so. |

15.6 @ 89.
On drag radials. I don't know why my engine doesnt make more power than my freaking d16. Compression and Leak down will fill me in a little bit more. Plus it's only on a basemap tune. |

all that for nothing...
at least you can say you have a b series & there is more potential dont worry you live and learn. get a wet kit and youll see low to mid 14.

Ha! the D gods smite you with slow for blaspheming them. Put the d back in, sell the B and use that money to boost it.

its either cuz you need to paractice or you need to get the drag radials off. The b16 doesnt make that much power. Alittle spin for RPm is a good thing.
Same with and lsd. If your engine doesnt have the balls its just gonna bog. practice your launches every now and then. You should be in the mid to high 14's

Granted, the tires were big (225/50's), but I don't see how traction made me slower...
Everything felt good. The only thing that was bad was my R/T's, but that doesn't really mean anything, time wise. We'll see |

run 17lbs in the tires, heat them up to 170* and dump the clutch while feathering the throttle around 4k. It'll hook.
Also, something is VERY screwed in that car if it is only trapping 89mph. You should be up in the high 90s with all of the weight you have removed.... unless there is a 400lb sub box in the back. |

Stock 1991 CRX Si curb weight: 2174lbs
-A/C components -heater -fan -passenger seat -spare tire/associated tools/jack ...Thats gotta be more than 100lbs right there... Anyway, my buddy came over and took some pics of my car with his new wide-angle lens: ![]() ![]() ![]() DR's? ![]() ![]() Guess who? ![]() ![]() Back OT: I'll be getting a compression tester and differential pressure tester (leak down) from my buddy in the next few days. The only problem with the leak down setup is that it's kinda cheap and only pressurizes the cylinder to 10psi... -Andrew |
