I think Black/Yel is Ignition power, so pretty much the opposite of ground. Trace it back to the bulkhead plug and then trace through the chassis harness, I'll bet that it's a power lead.

Gotcha yeah I just got in from work but am about to leave again for a meeting.

I'll check it asap. I was just thinking about it while at work wondering what the heck I could do.

Well in that case, I wonder if the blue one is being going to a resister, or if it's going somewhere else. Idk if my PDF Helms will tell me or not... I'll check it out lata.

Hmm... ok. Thanks Klyph.
I'll just plan on keeping them both as they are. I'll just have to figure something out. Luckily theres plenty of extra wire in the blue one, so I don't think it'll be a problem at all.

I'll be heading up to Home Depot and a few other places to find some good wire sleeving. I'm going to try and use as little corrugated(sp) looming as possible. And as little electrical tape as possible(or hopefully none at all- I've developed a hatred for the stuff when it's in the engine bay/exposed to heat; when it gets all nasty and sticky/slimy/makes your skin instantly turn black when you touch it., etc)

Black Hockey tape > *

I used hockey pucks for mounts and hockey tape for all the wiring. I'm thinking about making a shifter out of a hockey stick just to follow the theme.

Like I said, I've still gotta do some more sanding, but didn't have any good paper around. Probably going to do a 600, 800, 1000 combo and it should be good and ready for paint. Color? idk.

White with a performance smiley perhaps?

Dude, thats sucks with Jose......

We'll figure somethin out with that civic.

<chuckles> what woudl you sell the shell for? ;)

Ack! You're seriously going to give me nightmares! All those wire! Gah!

Anyway, sorry I have no help to offer w/ the wiring. Just to say good luck....

That DP looks a whole lot better against the bare metal, BTW. If it were mine I'd try to polish & clearcoat.

are you trying to tell me that the engine is for sale I can`t seem to get what your trying to tell all of use. please clue in all of use thanks.

what engine the b16? have you read even the post above yours? you should probably just leave this thread, since you just got ripped apart in the last one.

The B16 is NOT for sale, nor is the D16, though it's use has yet to be determined.

Bingo.

Terrance, we can clean it up and paint it and I'll give you a killer deal on it. I'll even help you put a motor in it, free of charge. :p

Good God! I seriously think this guy has offered to buy half of Hondaswap's member's cars and engines at this point... I see him asking if shit is for sale in nearly every thread I look at...

haha mugen coaster, that would be cool. btw guys watch out for cv1450 i think the guy is a thief, he seriouslly wont quit pm'ing me. i told him i wouldnt sell him my hood and now he is just bugging me about it, and no he is trying to buy my lip kit, then he wanted to buy a car, so if a moderator see's this they could track his ip address and maybe report or ban him or something.

Pshh... what a newbie...

Well guys I went to Advanced last night and did a little wondering/shopping.
Picked up some sandpaper, "filler" primer, and some "primer grey" color acrylic/enamel paint.
I think I'll like that color with a little chrome/silver accents. We'll see what it looks like.

I came home and did a little wet sanding with the 320grit on the spots where the lettering was. looks pretty good, so far. I wiped it all down with Mineral Spirits to clean all the metal shavings from the grinder, then blew it all off with the Airgun, and started masking off the sparkplug holes, oil filler cap hole, and a few other little things.

I'm hoping the "filler primer" will take care of some of the 'grind-in' marks made from the grinder. They aren't very deep, so I'll do a couple coats of this stuff in that area and wet sand it a few times to make sure it looks good before paint gets laid.

Sorry I'm in class and didn't bring my camera to load the pics. I'll do it today!
