I fail at reading, lol. I just saw 18 and your motor was messing up and you were taking it in for testing. My bad . And yeah, I'll be checking in on this thread.

when you can hear a loud car in some far-off street that is taking 32 seconds to leave first gear, and you can tell the guy is flooring it by the way the engine revs when he changes into second as he lets the clutch back out.

what bothers me most is the waste of energy...

thats pretty cool man my friend has a crx with a JDM D15B non-vtec it runs pretty strong and kills ls's we call it the ls killa...i also had a d16z6 they run good but i blew it haha...

this is a quick reply while i was half way through the video... i am thinking outside of vaccum leaks and more with water temp, o2 sensor, something along those lines? i know when the car is cold it tells the ecu to make a more rich mixture, and the o2 is sensing the mixture quality. i am not a huge expert on these things, but those are my thoughts anyway. car looks great by the way...

eh... after seeing the video again with the 2x4 i take back what i said... you def. have a leak soldier! i would suggest hooking everything up properly (all hoses etc) and try again.

I think he took them off because he realized he had a leak somewhere.

gotta figure this stuff out man. stuff is annoying. There was a car meet photoshoot supposed to be tonight but instead I busted out some drinks wit my buds. they never said theyre was a meet, so I didn't go to any one. you know?

When did you develope this?

You need to replace the vacuum lines that you have. May have poked a hole in one somehow, though for the ending to still run with the 2x4 blocking it is kinda strange

Should have used your hand to COMPLETELY seal it off. Maybe we can check it out when I get up there this aftenoon?

daveholiday, I totally agree on the subject of Pittsburgh.. and all of the surrounding areas. The car meets here in Washington (little washington) are "used to be car meets". At one time it was a bunch of mustang kids and a few imports.. now they all have bikes and sit in the fucking wal mart parking lot... gay. All the nice cars in town never come out, its sad.

It sucks bad, every now and then I'll see a couple Cobalts in a Walmart parking lot, and honestly I'd pull up and chill if I knew they'd have anything positive to say, or something to that sort. But they have big bad Colbalt SS's and they know everything.

I've already decided that I just want to get the power I should make in my GSr and not touch it ever again, as far as performance wise. A 5.0 is calling my name.....

Trust me, I did, but it's not a very comfortable getting your hand sucked into your engine at 2,000-2,500rpm. lol.
I was talking with max a little bit about the situation, and the only real explanation is a big vacuum leak.(obviously.) But if I plugged the IACV, Brake Booster, PCV, etc....... I guess I just need to play with it some more.

Plus I still need to do a compression test and differential pressure check...
Hopefully I will get some work done today after work.

yeah im in robinson right now and its balls cold outside, and FedEx makes you walk a half a mile to smoke in a little shack...it sucks!

Yeah, up here in MA we have close to a foot and a half of snow on the ground and we might break freezing tomorow.
