Hmm......

I'll see what I can do when the motor is here and I can look at it. I'm not familiar with how the PCV box connects to the block, but I might be able to utilize it somehow. Most people opt to freeze-plug it and buy the Prelude nipple to run the catch can system on.

We'll see!

For an Update, I just had all the tires mounted/balanced and threw them on the car. (look AWSOME),

I had to ship out my adj. cam gear to KMS because I'm an idiot and didn't send it with the motor(no idea why). But they told me thats the last thing they have to do, to set the cam gear and check everything over one last time, check for VTEC engagement, etc.
This whole deal has probably raised my blood pressure a few pounds, but they're knocking off $400, so thats helping me keep sane. (actually, i've worked out a great deal with the folks... I sold my truck, gave them the money, so I only have to pay about $250 out of pocket for a fully built Z6!!! ) ... So when I think of it that way, I feel I'm getting a great deal... even though I'm forced to wait 4 months for it to get back from the builders...

Pardon my noobness, but what is the point of all this catchcan business. What's wrong with the stock breather box?

its restricting, it puts nasty air back into the intake to be burned off(for emissions reasons), clogs up the throttle body(Taco15 can attest), and is just all around gay. It's a GREAT way to mass-produce cars to pass emissions in every country, but blows performance out of the water(or motor in this case )

I'm sure theres many other reasons to set one up, but that right there is enough for me. I'd rather not suck my motors 'spent' oil/gases back into the intake to get burned again, but thats just me.

Musta been a question I had a long time ago... It's all taken care of now, and it wasn't the tach signal.

Thanks though!

KMS actually shipped it!
Plus he's sending me a stage 2 clutch for free(don't think he's doing it on purpose either! I think he forgot that I didnt want it. lol score!)

Should be here late this week or early next (don't know much about the shipping company he's using, but I should be getting some tracking #'s from him today or tomorrow

yeah about time. Right now my other crx is in his shop as well. It looks like we'll be doing both swaps at the same time. I planned for taking my motor out fri. and finishing sun. then Andrew get the call that his motor has been shipped!

this will be interesting 2 swaps, 1 place and hopefully 4 people to help.

Update...

I misunderstood KMS, I thought he said they're shipping the motor Tuesday, but infact they sent me a free Stage 1 clutch instead.
Motor shipped out today(thursday), so it should be here early next week.

And a few days ago I cleaned up some stuff:

This car is gonna be so clean.... I don't think we'll even get dirty at all with the swap.
