Damnit.. I tried responding with smoke signals and yelling, but it didn't work. All it did was make me look like an idiot.

I dunno how the floor mats would turn out. I suppose I could try.. BUt personally, I've never been a fan of al. floor mats.

yeah I hear you. I donno, for some reason I've always liked the idea of DP floormats, although I don't know how they'd turn out either. Personally, call it rice or whatever, I love diamond plate, I think it looks good if you use it in the right place. I don't know, I used to have all these ideas, but I can't seem to think of any right now.

Also, since you both seem to know your shit, and andrew has a rex, maybe one of you can help with some information?

Looks good, a brushed aluminum oil cap would really set it off.

O, and a matching set of plug wires :P

Werd on that. Now that you've got the wire cover on there I think a metal oil cap would look really nice.

And by the way, when did Andrew's build thread get taken over by Mac24?

For one thing, Andrew has seen/knows all the problems I"ve had with my VC and I wanted him to see my lil spark plug cover, since he's getting one this weekend.

ANd he hasn't had any good updates in a while... so at least I keep his thread bumped

Sorry to muck up Andrew's thread, but I just had a quick question for mac_24_seven.

Is there any advantage to running hoses like the ones you've got for the valve cover ventilation and fluid reservoir, or is that just done for looks?

I've seen those on magazine feature cars too, so I was just wondering...
