Got the axle seal and the coolant block off today (gotta love it when your 'supplier' is a under 5 hrs away. heh)

Progress this weekend I guess!

@Andrew: I've been following your project for a long time now, nice going. I'm a little sad you decided to transition to a blown engine, but I'm a fan of N/A, so I don't blame you. Looks good.

I just need to find time to do a wire-tuck myself....

Yeah I built the D for N/A with the high compression, but as the old saying goes, "N/A is the expensive way to go slow."...

Thanks for the comment, bro.

It's just sitting in the shop.

Got the VC on:

Finished the interior!

And installed the gauges:

I'll change the axle seal and hopefully get the drivers side axle taken care of this weekend. I've got Monday off of school, but idk if I want to work all day or fix my car... hmm... probably fix my car THEN go to work.

I like that a lot. My buddy bought a boosted hatch with the guages where the heater stuff was, but its a little different here since it's pa and it's cold

haha... yeah. Well, since it's Florida, I figured I don't really need it, since I wasn't using my A/C during this past summer anyway, I went ahead and gutted it. As far as heat... it was like 32* this morning, and I was sure glad the minivan (yes, minivan.) had heat... but It's all good. I'll just get all bundled up and stuff in the mornings and I'll be fine.

I couldn't imagine living up north like some of you guys. Us floridians are such pansies sometimes.

That's really brave. I don't know if I could sacrifice a vent in my car.

Looks good. Nice clean install, no ghetto looking parts like in my car. Interior looks slick, but have you thought about redying/painting some of the black plastic parts that have faded with time?

Btw, I may have missed this, but what are you using for engine/fuel managment?

P28 chipped with CROME. Custom tuned by a friend of mine here in Tallahassee.

The only thing I'm wanting to dye is the carpet. Black. I think it would look SICK.

Went to Pick N Pull today. No luck on the axle. Could NOT get the axle nut off... trust me. I tried.

First off. I saw this beauty... I guess it's clear the fire-wall did it's job!

Then I saw this 1980 VDub Rabbit Diesel. So sweet. With some TLC I'd DD this thing in a heartbeat! 50mph FTW!

Then found the Integra I was looking for. A '89 LS.

I jumped on that thing for 20 minutes trying to break it free. I even brought a can of WD-40 in case it was going to be tuff.... no cigar.
I posted up a WTB thread on a local forum, so maybe someone will have one laying around.

I just need the Drivers side. If your bored one day and can get a shipping quote on it just lmk how much it is. I'd of course like to find one locally. (zip code is 32303 btw.)
I might just take my small compressor and impact gun out there. They have wheelbarrows so it's not that bigga deal I guess.

We'll see. Maybe I can get out there Tuesday with some more tools and see what I can do.

Scratch that. went out there this morning with a 5ft pipe and broke it loose.

The shop where I was going to have the outer hub put on was closed, so I'm calling around to see who can do it for me. Is this something I can do? Anybody know of any good links? I'm gonna do some searching and see if it's less complex than I think...

Yeah I actually rechecked the site I was getting the info from. And it said to actually use the 86-89 axle with the 90-93 inner hub.
So I pull them both apart and they won't interchange.
IDK What i'm going to do. I think I'm going to try the old stock one and see if by some strange reason it works.

Heres what I did:

This is me trying to put the '90-'93 hub on the '86-'89 axle. The "balls" are just a hair too big...

Top to bottom:
'86-'89 Integra
'90-'93 Integra
