It sucks bad, every now and then I'll see a couple Cobalts in a Walmart parking lot, and honestly I'd pull up and chill if I knew they'd have anything positive to say, or something to that sort. But they have big bad Colbalt SS's and they know everything.

Ahh, Washington PA. I don't know how many speeding tickets I've gotten there on my to to/from Cincinnati haha

No, seriously though, I honestly have no idea what to do with the whole 2x4 thing. You'll get it though, you always seem to. I'm rootin for ya kid.

Man... just another thing... Another sign from the domestic gods telling me to not do any more work to my import and finish my "Nivy" project. (240sx/4.3Vortec/Nitrous/Drag car)

You know I feel your pain buddy....You watch, my civic project is gonna try and turn out like Eli's.

I've already decided that I just want to get the power I should make in my GSr and not touch it ever again, as far as performance wise. A 5.0 is calling my name.....

Terrance, after our Savannah trip, lets get Nivy running. I want it at my house! Then I can really start work on it...

Oh, btw...

Trust me, I did, but it's not a very comfortable getting your hand sucked into your engine at 2,000-2,500rpm. lol.
I was talking with max a little bit about the situation, and the only real explanation is a big vacuum leak.(obviously.) But if I plugged the IACV, Brake Booster, PCV, etc....... I guess I just need to play with it some more.

Plus I still need to do a compression test and differential pressure check...
Hopefully I will get some work done today after work.

Below 30?
That'd be nice. It's I believe around 10, maybe a little lower, and it's mid day.

Yeah, up here in MA we have close to a foot and a half of snow on the ground and we might break freezing tomorow.

Andrew, take a can of wd-40 or carburator cleaner and start squirting it on everywhere there's a seam/ junction/ gasket/ tube. You'll know when you have found the leak.

I fixed the problem. It turns out my car just needed some time alone to work things out with itself
Just took it up the road and it feels great. Unfortunatly in the back of my mind I still know something is wrong with it...

Next thing on the list is compression/leakdown checks.

You know what Andrew, my brother pulled out his ls/v hatch yesterday and came over, I went upstairs and we chatted in my living room for a bit, and I'm listening and I'm like what's that? and he's like oh that's the civic idling, it was doing the same exact thing yours was, or so it sounded. He said it happens from time to time, but has never hurt his performance, nor has he had any problems with it.

Huh. Yeah it's not real loud, it's just a little chatter. Almost as if my cam gears were loose or something, and were slapping the head every other turn or so. Weird analogy, but...

Sorry, previous post was about the purging. As far as that other noise, I have no idea. But I guess if you check everything, and you can't find anything, and your performance hasn't been hurt, then I wouldn't worry

Nah no worries. Just got to find the time to check my damn compression and stuff. I've been running non-stop all week... gotta get everything done before I go on vacation this Saturday. Going up to Savannah, GA/Hilton Head Island, SC for a week.
I'm probably going to move up there next year after I graduate, so I'm checking out the town and the Gulfstream facility up there.

So no updates next week....

Yeah, life never seems to stop. It kinda sucks. I remember when I was little and I wanted to be 16 so I could drive, and my parents and everyone are always saying "once you hit 16, you'll start wishing you were young again, because time starts flying and only goes faster."

And damn were they right.
