Gotta get another set of wheels to replace them... but I think the going rate is somewhere around $200 for 'em nowadays right?

Hit the shop last night and got a lot done!
Got my catchcan finished, but soon realized some serious flaws... ![]() ![]() 1. can't bolt it in. 2. can't see the water level even if I could! ![]() So I'm thinking of either putting bungs/sight glass on the other side and keeping it in that location, or moving it here: ![]() Then I finished the dash console- ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I fired it up and heat cycled the engine. No major leaks! yay! Then I DROVE across the yard to get a bath. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Next I need to detail the interior. ![]() I need a racing seat or something. I've got my JDM CR-X seat, but I might wanna step up to something sporty, with a harness and stuff... idk. Opinions? -Andrew |

Awesome man.
5 point harnesses look cool, but are an absolute pain in the butt to deal with. I don't like em. I think the JDM crx seat looks great and you should just stick with that.. I mean it's Recaro seat. You could try and find you some ITR seats for $1,000. Those are sporty! I like the console BTW... The carbon fiber looks awesome. Good job! Get your butt down to Perry now that your car is runnin . If you've got your main nitrous line hooked up, lets get the rest hooked as well! Or just play some Guitar Hero/rock Band.. Whatever :P Oh, Sorry bout the catch can. Wish I (or we) would have thought about which side the couplings needed to be welded on.. You probbaly told me and I just screwed it up ![]() I think it looks good on the other side. But if you want me to make you another one, maybe more compact.. I dunno.. Lemme know. |

I'm going to see about getting it on the other side. If it's too much of a pain (because there is no mounting holes over there, I'd have to use self-tapping screws or something :S) then what we can do is just simply weld some bungs onto the right side of the can, and I'll put it in the original spot.

Oh yeah man! I saw them here in Tallahassee when they opened for 311's concert!! REALLY enjoyed them! Especially their "1,000" song (don't know the name exactly). Really cool. The bassist was very good! (drums, no so much, but still entertaining!)
I'll definitely hit up some meets sooner or later. Are you going to Import Alliance in July? I think I might be there... |
