Got some primer layed down-




The primer went on pretty smoothly, so I don't think I'm gonna do a second coat.
Next comes paint. I'm pretty sure I'll do 2 coats of paint, then I'll probably spray some clear on it for some added protection and bling factor.
This is my spring break week, so I'll have lots of time to get this thing back together.

What are you going to do about the front mount on the d series motor.

Not use it.

Do you have stiffer aftermarket d series mounts? By the way your bay is looking real nice.

I've got stock left and right ones, but I've got ES inserts for the back. it'll be fine

i know i'm pretty far behind but i can't find this answer anywhere. would the gsr cams like these work in a b16 engine?

Yes.

All B series (vtec) cams are interchangeable. The GSR cams are a upgrade (albeit small) for the B16.

Got some Grey down. I'm ok since it's the first coat, but I'm going to make sure I get the mixture right on the next one. For some reason it was building up too quickly (like I didn't thin it out enough maybe?) I don't have any runs, it's just a little orange peeled (or at least it was after I sprayed it. I'm sure it's "calmed" down a little since then.)

Got the Harness almost done. After about 2 hours:



Then got the shop all cleaned up and whatnot



I think it's going to rain tonight, so I'll probably have to wait a couple days for this humidity to come down a little before spraying again, and to allow this coat to dry.
