well, now is the time to move it if I really need to. I've seen guys do it this way on their tucks, so I think it's ok, but I still wanna be able to change the relay when/if it goes out, hence I'd rather not tape everything up. but if you guys really, really think they should be relocated, I guess I'll consider it.

Oh No! Not a Same Color Wire Mod!! I would have bought a spare harness & hacked that up in order to make extending the wires match... If ONE wire is wrong, your FUCKED.

And thats a pretty good idea. I'd probably would have been easier, but o well.. I guess I'll do it next time like ya said! We got in from the drag strip last night. a quick run down: GSR. full int, new yokohama avs es100's, ITR header(no exhaust, just header), intake, BLOWN HEAD GASKET! 15.5 @ 90.xx '04 Focus SVT. toyo proxies 4(about 10k on 'em.), AEM CAI. 15.7 @ 88.xx '87 ranger. Built 351, (the works)- roll cage, fuel cell, slicks, etc. 12.1 @ 111.54 w/o nitrous. 10.6 @ 126.29 w/ 150 shot. We had a blast! we were hoping for 10.9999 at most with the ranger, so when he rolled up and drove a 10.6 we were..............overjoyed.. to say the least. Ladies and Gentlemen, that is a 10 sec. streetable(he drives it to work sometimes) FORD RANGER, built in the backyard. Congradulations Terrance and Jay! -Andrew | ||

Update 9-18 Pictures of yesterday's races I'm almost finished up with the drivers side: ![]() And I cleaned up my engine/cabin harness. I'm thinking this is how I'm going to mount the fuse box. (let my fuel filter hide under the IM. probably secure it with some zip-ties or something...) ![]() ![]() ![]() -Andrew

What does everyone think of that fusebox location? I think the only draw back is gonna be the excess length of wires coming from the cabin, however, I think the trans will do a good job of hiding it.

Update 9/20: I've finished the drivers side! ![]() ![]() ![]() I've got a few more wires more wires to run then I can start putting body parts back on. Oh, and this sucks: I noticed my carpet in front of my passenger's seat was wet. I inclined the seat forward and found this: ![]() ![]() So I ran the vac over it few times: ![]() Then put a fan on it. (I'll leave it on there over night) ![]() ![]() I just sure hope it doesnt mold! I'll do everything I can to prevent having to get new carpet. Anybody have any suggestions on what to do?

Well first find the cause... On old Hondas 99% of the time its the sunroof channels being clogged, or a leaking window because of rotted moulding. Nice Flashlight. Ryobi 18v FTMFW!

I'm thinking it's the door moldings. The sunroof area has no water around it.(none of my headliner in for that fact) Thats the ONLY wet spot on my car. And yeah, these flashlights rock!

I think today I'll be mainly working on the carpet issue. I might run the last of the wires for the fuse box. Update later today.

update 9-21 Officially finished the drivers side. ![]() And the fusebox. I know it doesnt look very clean in the pics, but I believe the trans will hide most of it, and it's all very secure. ![]() ![]() And a slight change of pace- ![]() -Andrew

Update 9/22 Way ahead of you Abel! Picked up some equipment to do the battery relocation(and some other needed things) For refference, I'm useing 4g wire for the main battery wire, and 6g for the fusebox(which I'll just be splicing off the main one in the engine bay.) ![]() Then I put all the body parts back on: ![]() Then I painted the engine bay(mainly worried/focused on the wheel wells and the top of the firewall, since thats all you really see. I ran out of paint so I couldn't paint the T-bracket and headlight brackets (was NOT a full can. Just something I had laying around) ![]() Last edited by Andrew; 09-22-2006 at 05:06 PM.
