As soon as I got home I started installing my cd player and 400 watt amp with 10 inch sub. I also customized the faceplate from the in dash install kit with some carbon fiber. Got me some new floormats and that's it for now. I'm gonna try my hardest to keep the engine stock cuz i want to convert the interior to all srt4 pieces. Here's some pics I took today, where you can see the carbon, some outside shots and also some pics from the beach a couple hours ago.

Why keep the engine 100% stock and change the interior to an SRT4 interior? That makes no sense. at the very least leave the car 100% stock looking and put an SRT4 motor in it.

throw some sticky tires on those steelies, toss some hubcaps on it .. get a coilover/shock setup, keep it stock height (just stiffer).. then surprise the hell outta people | |

| lol i would but that takes more money than i have. plus, i'm gonna drive on this motor till it blows up then swap in something better. i really would like to have a srt4 motor in there right now, but it's just not what i want right this moment. the driver's seat has some worn out cushion that is so flat that i can feel the metal in my back, so that is going to be the first thing i switch out. and lol about the hubcaps, when i got this car it had two on it... took them off so it would match a lil better. I might be picking up some wheels next weekend so it's not a big deal.

My dads buddy sold his late 90's Neon with 60,000 miles on it, it was a super clean car. The guy phoned back a day later and the motor was blown. He was looking for a refund.

lol as soon as some major shit happens with mine i'm gonna look at the cost of repair, and if it's more than half of what an srt4 motor would run, then i'm getting turbo power.. but like i said, until then (other than repairs and oil changes/fluids) my money is going into interior and looking good (not ricey). does anyone know if neon were ever made for japan? i know they were marketed as chrysler's in europe...

I knew that as well.. What I'm trying to find out is if they were sent to other CONTINENTS! Also it would be kinda cool if they were in Japan, and were styled a bit differently for Japan. Then I could have a JDM Neon! lol

You can get a JDM Toyota Cavalier with a TRD areo kit and all. I seriously doubt they have neons over there though.

I have no need to save. once i finally get in the navy and get the enlistment bonus i'll do the srt swap, what i'm saying is that until then it's just for looks. sorry if i'm kinda poor at the moment, i got freaking laid off. not my damn fault, just the shitbrain who selected me to be laid off was getting his dick sucked by the girl who worked in my dept, so of course they send me packing.

to answer your question yes they had export neons, the only difference is the taillights headlights and parking lights. As far as engines go it would be a downgrade cause they are 1.8l instead of 2.0l.

displacement doesn't always equal more power. I.E. VW's 2.0 and their 1.8 turbo. 2.0 is a piece of shit. 1.8 is pretty bad ass.
