other thread was getting kinda long....
setup: GSR block JDM ITR pistons ACL bearings GSR head PortFlow headwork skunk2 stage2 cams Type R intake mani RC 320cc GSR throttle body SMSP header straight pipe to a 2.25" thermal exhaust ![]() 215 hp 145 ftlb (last pull wasnt pulled all the way for some reason) tuned on CromePro 1.2 dynojet dyno thanks to: chris and all the guys @ ProMotion Tuning for use of the dyno Steve @ SGT-Tuning for badass tuning Dave @ SMSP for helping me set it up and an awesome header everyone who sold me cheap parts for the build ![]() and last but not least, my mom for letting me use her van to tow my car there lol. pic of the motor: ![]() enjoy ![]() __________________

The only reason you made so much HP was because you didn't have a radiator, and the car had that much less weight to pull.

not sure on exact figures for cost of the engine, but its about 5500-6000 i spent building this motor, not including tuning. thats with the motor, portwork, header, pistons, lots of new parts from honda, machine work, and everything else. no labor included because i did everything myself

werd. ill probably be checking out some pro1 cams or toda c's (if i can get them for a decnt price) sometime, along with a true 2.5" ehaust, and a re-tune, maybe next year or so
but for now im happy with what it does. feels wicked fast too ![]() |
