They look alright to me, much better then the chrome-looking Altezza variety. But yeah, the stockers would probably look even cleaner though, maybe tint 'em with some of that night shades stuff? Or, you could grab some black housing headlights too. At least that way you'd have some consistency front to back...

Thanks for the correction eg6. I'm not really interested in getting a body kit for this car, all i think i want now is some decent black or dark rims, since the theme of my car seems red and black. That would be it for the looks part. I like the more subtle clean look, need some more power........... thanks to rent/insurance/credit card/ cell phone/ food and gas its tough but im saving.

| Ignoring the lights for a bit, ive done what i can to keep it clean and preserved. From what the previous owner said (out of i think 6), its been rust coated (especially undercoated) almost every year, he told be the only rust he ever had to deal with was a little rocker and hatch. Its never been winter driven or so they say, but the overall body heath shows it hasent. I have owned it for a little over a year now and i keep a close eye for rust and the like. I was complimented by a guy in a nice WRX STi, he asked the year and he had to get out and see my car up close to believe me. The engine bay is damn nice for being original, the paint on the body looks newer than the car but im not sure, there is some splitting in the paint in certain spots. All i have found on the car so far is some bubbling around the all too usual window frames (wind shield mostly) and some on the rockers and by the "DOHC" trim. No actual visible rust! Im proud to have it in such condition and i intend on maintaining it until its no longer appropriate for to have it (please no kids yet...), it gets totaled, cant afford it, or simply get bored of it. And to think my parents frowned when i told them i had my eye on a 1990 integra...... 18 years and running strong. Sorry for the rant....

Older Hondas are getting harder to come by, and the way I see it will be like the older muscle cars of our parents generation one day. People are throwing them away, and 10-15 years from now they may just be collectable items. I dont know just my wishful thinking maybe but it would be cool.

i just came across this post and wanted to say right on for keeping a DA on the streets. i have had 2 different 1990 integras... at one point i had them both at the same time. i got into hondas with my first DA in 1998. so the 2nd gen tegs werent quite so old back then. it was fun working on that one but the second one i picked up i swapped a b16 in and that thing was my baby for the next 5 years. your car is clean overall... but you really need to pick up some 90-91 oem tails for it. the 92-93s look like crap with the orange turn signals. also maybe get some 92-93 front and rear bumpers, i personally always thought they looked nicer heres a couple pics of my old ride, sold it several years ago... i really miss this one... shoulda never sold her ![]() ![]()

I have the stock tails, and i can always buy clear turn signals. I like my stock trim as well. I'm going for a red and black theme so my tails fit me nicely. Nice DA, i thought mine was clean. Last edited by Justin66; 08-07-2008 at 04:51 PM.

if you have your stock tails then they look just like the ones pictured on my old car. those came on 90 and 91 models. the 92-93 teg had different tails with orange lenses on the top for the turn signals... they dont look too good. thats what i was referring to. yeah i would kill to have that car back... i just recently bought a b20/vtec 3rd gen integra and i like it a lot.... but i would rather have that old b16a powered DA any day! it was soo perfect, so pristine, ive NEVER seen another one cleaner

i got a 92 integra gs and it needs a right side upper ball joint, so in stead of just replacing the ball joint i decided to install a set of skunk2 or blox adjustable upper control arms so i can fine tune the alignment when i get my struts and drop coils. the only problem is that i can only find upper control arms for a 94-01 integra. Will they fit or do I have to settle for the 0ver priced specialty products control arms i can get through my shop? pleae help!!!!! Last edited by b18GS92; 09-21-2008 at 12:35 PM.
