Default New To site, Postin' the REX

Sup fellas-
I am new to this site and I figured to post some pictures of the car. The list is as follows:

'91 CRX SI

ENGINE:
JDM B16a swap
Port and Polished Head
AEM Intake
GSR Camshafts
Skunk2 ADJ. Gears
Stock bottom end - Wanting a GSR Block!!!!
HAYAME header, complete Exhaust System
PR3 ECU
Transmission:
Y1 w/ LSD
Lightened Flywheel
Exedy Stage 2 Clutch

Interior:
A GAY GT Grant steering wheel (came with car)
A plain old Kenwood deck for MUUUZZZAK Purposes
The rest is mostly in PRIME CONDITION Stock everything ELSE

Exterior:
Custom dent in Pass. Front Fender (Basketball)
Rusted ass Sunroof (now lightweight!!! LOL)
Custom angled Dents on hood (caused by PPLS trying to jack what they cant have/afford.
The usual Honda Cancer developing.

This is my new project. Not much. I want to stay stock looking as possible, try to restor to JDM as much as possible. I used to be all about the whole BODYKIT, neons, Systems, but I find that having a restored EF whill get more appreciation than WIDEBODY KITS and Systems. What do you guys think???? Wanting to go N/A with the motor because I am sick of all these kids around were I live with Evos, sti's, or pretty much anything that is boosting. I USE VACUUM!!!!! Primarily so I can run my mouth when its built and stomp on these kids their parents bought. It still needs work, but I think I can get it to a potentially fast N/A build. I hope all goes well!!!

Yeah, there is some suspension work done, just your average KYB GR-2s.... I got an extra set that I also need to get rid of. The chassis has 120,000. Which is NOT BAD AT ALL in my eyes. Any other questions???

I'd probably ditch the hood pins if you're trying to keep it stock-looking...

Damn lucky bastard found maybe the one rex in this world with less than 200,000 miles on the chassis. lol Nice car. You should be fine with the b16 block for now it loves the high revs which gives you a bit of an advantage over those boosted guys. But if you do switch out the block find yourself a b20 block little bit more displacement. You could also get that reseleeved, bored a little bit, and throw some h-beam rods, and forged pistons, and your block is good to go. By the way I know what you mean about all the kids who have evo's and sti's that we're bought for them except around here its v6 camaro's that have intakes, and glass packs.

Yeah about those hood pins....I need to ditch those. I dont know what the hell the other dude was thinking when he put them on. They are useless in my book unless you got like a carbon fiber hood..... Good call on the B20 block, I heard those can perform well with a B16 head. I am not sure.... I am trying to trade my other Civic strait up for a high compression built GSR block. Hopefully the guy that is interested in my other civic will take me up on that offer. Yeah, I do not know how I managed to find a rex that has less than 200,000 on the body. My jaw dropped when I first saw that!!! Anyway, now I am trying to install an APEXi V-AFC, but it is way confusing. The manual tells me that wires are different from what pinout sheets say, and the pinout sheets dont label what I need from the manual. It is super weak. But, I got it for $75 so I really connot complain. Anybody know were I can possibly find any info?? I have tried and searched multiple times on this and other sites, and I have even called APEXi and I cant seem to find what I am looking for. Its really stupid.

Lucky bastard. If mine was at that, that'd mean I had to go back in time. And about 50 or so thousand miles later, head gasket would blow, my timing belt would break, and my dizzy would give out twice all over again. lol.

My Integra's currently at 102k, and that's the lowest mileage Honda I've ever owned...first time I've ever had to change a timing belt too...

My first Honda (because in my world it is either Honda or shit) was a 1988 Hatch with 73 thousand original miles (on the body) Man, isn't it weird that you try to go bigger and better, but once you do, you wish you had the previous Honda back?? Does anybody have that problem also??? If I could, I would keep every Honda that I had or will have. To bad I dont own a lot of land. And question for all of you..... WHY do people hate on the greatest automobile manufacturer of all time??? I mean, if it was not for Honda's VTEC (invented in '84 or '87, mass produced in '88 (I think) ) Ford would not have Zetec, or Chevrogay would not have Ecotec, and so forth.

HONDA PRIDE!!!!!!!!!

I miss my integra so much. that thing even with a $35 pep boys intake it had more balls than my civic with a y8 swap intake, header, and full exhaust.

My '95 5-door had 114000km when I bought it.

OP: Welcome to the site. Nice car too, just ditch the wheel, and you've got a clean ride. Maybe you'll look into doing a wire-tuck like Andrew, if you've got time like he does. heh.

Hey guys I just wanted to say thank you for being cool. I have visited multiple forums like Honda-Tech.com, and they are assholes. I guess they think that everyone should know everything about Honda, so they give people that are new to Honda, or that have a question, they bash on them. You guys are different. I want to thank everybody that has posted on this thread, because YOU guys understand, and you give good critisism (sp?) This is BY FAR the best Honda forum that I have found/joined. Thanks again! Now, if I could figure out how to give rep to everybody on this thread............

To give rep, just go to the little scale at the bottom of everyone's little profile setup on this page. That's about it (love the rex, it sure beats the hell out of mine look-wise lol). I agree though, ditch the wheel.
