The crappy part about the panels is I actually had a set that came with the rest of the interior. I went to this yard in Atlanta and picked out an interior (you go on the lot and look and then they come and pull it out for you). Paid for it. Decide to come back the next day because they said it would take a few hours to get to pulling it. Came back the next day and walked into the office where I saw two guys buying a set of door panels. I thought to myself "I wonder where they found those...I could only find one set yesterday". Come to find out that these guys walked into the shop at the yard and grabbed my panels. I watched them sell my parts which I had already paid for to someone else. Now I cant find any more.

I decided to do my rear disc conversion today, but I ran into a problem. One of the rear upper arm bolts stripped as I was putting it back in. Now I cant get it back out. What is the best way to get it out. It is loose enough to be moved around. Also will it be strong enough to drive for a day or two or should I get the stripped bolt out and replace it before I drive it.

You know, I almost sent you a text today, don't ask why.
Do you have any pictures of where the bolt is stripped at?I personally would not take a chance driving anything with a stripped bolt, but that's just me. __________________

This f-in rear disc swap has been a real pain in my ass. I am going to pick up a set tomorrow and try it out. Hopefully I dont screw it up more.

Just make sure you buy a metric set! (of course)
I would just 'chase' the threads with the 14x1.5 first and try it. see if you can get torque numbers off it. If it does torque, your good. |

Well I finished the brake swap. I tried to tap out the bolt hole with little success so my friend is going to come over this weekend and see if he can help me. I couldnt get the tap to grab anything so I wasnt able to get it started, and I didnt want to start drilling since I have never done this before, so instead I finished everything else. Once I replace the bolt I will be ready to go.

It looks good with the wheels on. I will take some pics when I get the bolt fixed because she is dirty right now, and I don t want to wash her since I am going to do more work this weekend.

That is the wrong bolt for it, its not suposed to be a 12 point try the other bolt (6 point) in the side you thought was stripped out.

What do you mean? The bolt that is there is the one that has always been there? When you take them out they are the same, only the head is different, and I did try to put the other one there, but it wont start either.

It took a few days for me to get around to fixing the bolt, but my friend finally came over and helped me out. So I went to wash the car so I could call the job finished and take some pics. My cat climbed onto the car within minutes of me being home (her favorite bed is now clean). I was hoping to keep it clean for a day or two, but whatever. Any way here are some pics.
