Want some bushings? I have a complete Energy Suspension kit that's only missing the radius rod bushings... and those can be put back in the box within an hour. ;)

Guy said he put a full bushing set on the car.. I glanced in a few places while under there and it seems to be true. The "$3000 suspension" the guy advertized is made up of $250 springs, $300 struts, and a $125 bushing set. Maybe if you count the wheels and tires you'd be near $1600. Maybe. He was full of shit on 80% of the things he told me, which I figured, but I was hoping I was wrong on at least a couple of them.

My "suspension techniques coil overs" are actually suspension techniques "drop springs". Thats a $800 difference in a phrase. My fault for not jacking the car up and physically looking.

The ecu has to have an aftermarket chip in it.. Rev is set to 8200 on a pm6.. Which is too high for stock stuff. I'll take a closer look at the injectors tomorrow but they appear to be stock.

You could always wire up your own harness if you want something to do every night for the next couple of weeks. If I see anything in any of the yards around here that I dont need for my car I will let you know.

If you have trouble getting a harness I can source on for you from the Honda yard, should be fairly cheap too.

"the honda yard"... Ass!

Around here you say "do you have any hondas in the yard?" and the answer is always "no" or "yeah! over blah blah blah" Where you see a stripped to the bone 80's integra that has every removeable part taken.

I might be headed to austin this weekend and next, I'll be sure to hit up the bigger yards, and I'll hit you up for the rest. thx!

After several days of random wiring headaches, and still more to go, I replaced all of the engine grounds and securely mounted the battery.

Removed all of the stickers and pin stripes, fixed the horrid exhaust rattle, cleaned and buffed out the paint, touched up several chips and fixed a few dings, aligned the body pannels (hood, fenders, bumpers, etc).. Its looking better and running much better (but not perfect just yet.. sigh..) I think I'm up to roughly 100hp out of 130.

The exhaust will be replaced, its sounds like total ass. I can't believe I said it had a good tone to it. I must have been high on fumes, because its the typical ricer fart cannon, but huge.

you are running an intervention on this rex, which it really really *really* needed. i'm in for the inevitable win.

It'll be a long show. Took it for a drive today, still not a pleasurable machine. It farts and runs like shit and stinks and rattles. It needs cash by the pound. And a sacrificial rex. But I blew another $250 on it this weekend. New windshield is nice, no spiders running all over it. And the previously mentioned battery/ground crap worked out.

This thing is so far from completion its rediculous. Nither motor I have is the motor that will end up in it.. Thinking about parting them both out for more cash to put toward a worthy power plant.

I've decided to do a partial interior.. Partial si dash and door panels.. The rest will be bare. Probably going to cage it up. Nothing set in stone yet, though.

Any progress pics? This sounds like it is going to be a long road but I am excited to see how it comes together.

bring that poor bitch back to life man. your bringing back to life what most ricers ruin!

You just helped me make a crucial decision my friend. Ive been lookin into gettin those wheels for my CRX, which is also white. But i only have two of the wheels cuz they were free. Now i know not to waste more money and find the other two. Thanks! and

Congrat on the New Honda. :)

Too lazy to scroll up the page then subscribe, so I'm writing this, looking like a douche...

I wish I was in you're position with a clean shell and a shat on interior, I'm the exact opposite.:( I'm jealous.

Right on man.

I can't wait until I can grab a project car and have fun with it like you're doing man. It's like a toy, but an actual car. Nothing more than an adults toy.

Hey, I have an exhaust you could adapt to yours- PM me and we'll talk. ;)

Custom bent 2.5", Magnaflow SS muffler and humongous Magnaflow resonator for good quiet running at speed and a nice tone at full throttle. I built it to set the car up for turbocharging- also have a nice stock looking straight pipe on it that looks like a cat, but is really a resonator.

OMG. I want it. Thats the set up ive been lookin for, if he doesnt want it, lets talk possible business :D

Going to pass for right now. I have plans for this car.. And I haven't done the research needed to pick a correct exhaust system. 2.5 is too big for N/A and it might not be big enough for what I am planning. It may be perfect, however. I'm looking for a very quiet exhast.

I am interested though. If you can sell it before I get dibbs on it, thats fine, I won't get my feelings hurt.

Oh, it's quiet... I was going to go for 3", but that was too much N/A for my setup. I disagree that 2.5" is too much N/A though. What are you planning? I was sizing it out for a 200whp-ish fast-spooling turbo setup.
