I just had a ls vtec swap done on my eg hatchback and the shifter is really loose. It will go in first gear, but it falls over and looks like it's in fifth gear. Then I bring it back and shift to 2nd, and it goes in, but then falls over all the way to reverse. The guy that did my swap said's that its the neutral spring in the tranny. Even when it's in third or fourth gear it looks like it's in either 5th or reverse, but it's in the right gear. One guy told me it might be the shift linkage. Any help I would appreciate.
