90 DA9 idle problems

i have a 90 teg ls when you first start the car when cold it revs about 2500 and it takes about three min. to idle down when it starts to idle down it fluctuates between 1500 to 2500 then will finely smooth out around 1200 anyone have any ideas would be a great help

it could a vacum leak check all ur lines..... crack in vacum line it could be and idle control valvle on the itake manifold my buddy have that same problem on his newer gsr..
