i want to do a poormans swap( GSR block, B16 head)
i already have a JDM B16 head and just want to port it.
i need the block and have a question if this is a good idea:
im getting JE pistons/rings,
i want to bore it and sleeve it( have no idea on what sleeves to get)
and want to know if its a good idea to turbo it in a Honda EF

I am working on a similar project. It's taking a while b/c of the amount of money it takes to go turbo while at the same time keeping it reliable. It isn't a bad idea if you have the money. keep in mind that when running a turbo you run it with less compression. this is important to keep in mind when ordering your pistons and doing your head work. as for sleeves, Darton makes a good product. again, if you are thinking about going turbo you should make that decision before you start buying internals. Also if you are going to go the turbo route, make sure the parts you buy can handle the amount of boost you plan on running. good luck, it will be a lot of fun when you are done.

i say you build an all motor poormans type r it would be better and alot cheaper in a way if you dont have the money but all motor is a way to go so high compression internals would b good with a stage 2 clutch but its all up to you so good luck and best wishes on your project
