bent valves?

If the timing belt brakes will it bend the valves in the 1.5ltr dz motor? Does anyone know? thanks

 | No if the timing belt breaks up the only thing will happen is that your engine is gonna stop and wont start up til you reaplaced the timming belt . Dont forget to time your engine after replacing the belt. |
