What does it take to swap a Type-r(b16b) with a d16y7

Im kinda new to swapping and racing and i was wondering what it would take to swap those two engines out. and if i need to at all ive heard its possible to just have a d16y8 engine and get good results. please help

| |  first wut are u swappin it in to second wut are u plan allmotor,turbo,or daily drive jus for fun |

| | i think its better to go DOHC instead of SOHC so you can get more power to the wheels rather than rolling single cam unless u want the same engine in and build that and save money rather than buyin a different engine |
