Harness

Posted 03-28-2008 at 12:09 PM by newb
Decided to start on the part Ive been dreading since I got into Hondas, the wiring. Picked up my engine harness off someone from a local forum, and then it hit me like a ton of bricks, Im not messin with non-emmisions carbureted cars anymore (which I can assemble a complete harness for, front to rear, no problem). Then to make things worse, this uncut harness is missing one plug , thats what I get for bein in a rush when I looked at it. At least its only missing that, and now the search goes on for a diagram.

Is this the CX? I probably have wiring diagrams for you. I'm 20, and I guess you could say farly decent with electronics, but I just rewired my OBD2a to OBD1, the whole engine harness, and removed emissions, and fixed some wiring issues that my skunk2 jumper harness had. So I would say to you, it's not too difficult at all. Remember that for the most part, your only working with power, signal, and ground wires still. Just a wider array of sensors.

But ya, lmk what car your workin on and I'll get you the diagrams. Most of what I have is on YBLEGAL - Tech but I have many more unsorted.

Are you using any sheething or loom? New copper or just reusing stock wire?
