looking to swap engines in a crx

i what to swap engines in my crx but haven't had much luck in finding info i looked at a k20 swap but i really don't what to spend 11k in the swap now i'm looking at a b18c1 or b18c5 but can't find a hole lot on them like how much it costs or which is better or how hard they are to do any help would be great

Have you thought about doing a ls swap and then converting it to lsvtec? /you would save money and have a nice motor but switch the tranny to a b16 tran

I would do a LS V-Tec. You will get good horse power and there easy to find parts for. I have my buddy putting in a LS tranny, GSR block and a built B16 head ( poor mans type R ) into my EF. hes cleaning and re-building the block and tranny, it cost him under $1500 for everything. GO LS V-TEC BRO!!lol

u can make 190hp out of a ls-vtec. and smoke a type r. the only problem is u have to have a michine shop drill out the dowl holes in head, so it fits on the b18a or b18a or b20b. u have to drill a hole in the back of the block so u can get oil to the head to power the vtec. but u can get a kit for that. u would have fast rex

I did a full obd 1 gsr swap to a 1990 honda crx for about 2200 dollars. it ran good. i ran 12.8 at the track.
