Civic CX Victory. An old kill thread.

I was on my way home from work yesterday, and pulled up to a stop light, right next to a black Hyundai Accent.
Now, I haven't raced anyone since the acquisition of my Civic CX because not only is it stock, the ECU is fucked up and won't rev past 4500rpms. There is NO WAY I'm pushing more than 50HP.
Well, I pulled up. It was a chick driver. She looked over at me, gave me "the look" the ricer racer look.. I'm thinking.. No way am I going to Bow down to a hyundai.. but it, at this point, would whip my ass. What the hell do I do?? I start thinking.. what kind of power do those accents have?? I don't know.. Never much cared to look up anything on a hyundai. Stupid.. Know thy competition. Well, I haven't found a hyundai that would be considered "competition"... ever. I feel less stupid.
Then it happens. She revs on me. Its a fart can. I'm now scared. Not only is my ECU fucked, but she has a fart can, that at this point is probably adding more power to her shitbox than my shitbox is producing all together. damn. DAMN. So I rev back. I removed my intake silencer for better gas mileage, so I have a little bit of a growl when I rev. It sounds pretty good, actually.
The sky gets dark all around us.. People are screaming and running in terror. We rev our motors up.. The earth starts shaking as the cross street's lights turn red.. 2 seconds to go time.
We launch. Both of us squeeking our tires. Squee... The road buckled behind our vehicles as we unleashed a hell fury of power. The g force was amazing.. but I'm pulling up... 3000... 3500... 4000.. Gonna have to shift soon.. The world is blurring around us. We are reaching speeds of 20+mph. 4500rpms.. I clutch and shift... Damn.. rpms dropped considerably. Stupid CX transmission. But wait.. I'm pulling ahead. I've got a bumper on her.... Can this be happening?
I rip through second gear, hoping that my axles can handle the brute force. I'm simply amazed that my tires are gripping as well as they are. I'm going as hard as my CX will allow. 4500rpms comes WAY too fast.. By this time, we are approaching 40.. I'm wondering if I should have invested in some form of front and rear spoilers.. The car could rip away from the ground at any moment and put me into orbit. But she doesn't have anything either, and she is still pushing hard.. So I shift again. This time, I find it hard to hang on to the steering wheel. I'm wishing I'd installed a cage in this beast.. Why the hell didn't I get a cage? 3rd gear takes me to 55mph... I shift to fourth. I'm wondering what kind of speed a Civic CX's body panels can handle before they buckle under the sheer pressure or get torn completely off. I almost spilled my coke. Fixed it... we're cool.
I'm crawling past 60 MPH... The intake is growling. The wind is whistling. The motor is humming calmly in the chaos. I am walking away from her. I get about a car length in front of her and she gives up. She hits the brakes.... I can't believe she used brakes at that speed.. Doesn't she have a chute???
It was over. I won. I giggled.. then I burst into outright laughter... My first CX victory. Probably my last.
