Posted 04-07-2008 at 11:52 PM by HonCiv99
Hey im rollin in a 99 Civic HX and as you all know they are slow as crap. So ive decided I need to change this lol. Ive been doin some research on the most cost effective way to gain more hp (N20, turbo, engine swap, etc), but cant come to a conclusion on what to do. So some ideas on the best way to go about this would be great!!

Rez the Teg Part 3 - Parts is NOT Parts

Posted 03-29-2008 at 02:39 PM by drbelanger73
One thing must be remembered above all things when rebuilding a vehical: You get what you pay for.

All parts are not created equal. If you are paying half the price of the Honda original you must expect to recieve a tawainese knock off imitation. Quality will vary. This is not always a bad thing but it will have to be considered when aquiring new parts. If you have an unlimited budget like it seems they do in these damn magazines then don't worry about it. If you are like me though...

Rez the Teg Part 2 - In the begining...

Posted 03-29-2008 at 01:03 PM by drbelanger73
It is hard for me to understand why this car was in such ill repair. When I was 17 I had an old rusted out 77 monte carlo that barely made 90mph. Still I vacummed it, washed it and generally took pride in my new car. This Integra is a prime example of why you don't give things to kids. If they want to earn it and then treat it like shit that is their buisness. I had to buy all my cars and as a result I treated them a lot better.

Enough parental lecturing though...

Harness

Posted 03-28-2008 at 12:09 PM by newb
Decided to start on the part Ive been dreading since I got into Hondas, the wiring. Picked up my engine harness off someone from a local forum, and then it hit me like a ton of bricks, Im not messin with non-emmisions carbureted cars anymore (which I can assemble a complete harness for, front to rear, no problem). Then to make things worse, this uncut harness is missing one plug , thats what I get for bein in a rush when I looked at it. At least its only missing that, and now the search goes...
