Im in the process of swapping my original D15B Non Vtec engine for a D15B Vtec. I have a 94 Auto Civic DX Coupe. I'm keeping my original tranny. I bought the engine from a JDM shop around my area. I have a mechanic putting it in and so far it turns on, but not for long. He's telling me theres not enough fuel getting into the injectors and says i have to change the whole wire harness because its now Vtec, but a friend is telling me thats crap. When I bought the engine i also bought a P08 ECU. So...

I have a 1993 civic dx auto i just bought it about 3 weeks ago and it was completely fine, i had no mechanical problems at all. then about 5 days ago the tranny started actin up. i checked the oil i dont know how old it is but it sure doesnt smell burnt or anything. but the car will not upshift under about half to full throttle shifting 1st to 2nd isnt to bad but cant be done under full throttle, shifting from 2nd to 3rd you have to just about feather it. usually it shifts to 3rd about 40 to 45...
