I have a 99 Civic SI with a 1.6 DOHC and a 5-spd manual transmission, model S4C. My transmission is broke. I have heard that other transmissions can be used and wondered which ones and what modifications must be done to do so. Is there a direct swap using existing half shafts and clutch? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if I can find another S4C transmission that is good I would be interested in that as well. Thanks
