i have seen the city light in the jdm head light and decided to do it to my own stock headlights.
car before i took out the headlight to get started on this little project. ![]() i took the headlight out so that i could seperate the housing. i preheated the oven at 200 degrees and put one of the lights in at at time for 8 min. ![]() after taking the head lights out of the oven i pulled them apart and bent the tabe around the headlights with a small flat head screwdriver. then i seperated the front part of the headlight attached to the clear part of the headlight and unscrewd the corner light housing. ![]() next, i sanded down the whole chrome headlight peiece as pictured below. ![]() after that we primed them in flat black ![]() i chose to paint them charcoal metalic although if i was going to do them again i would have left them flat black. ![]() now for the next part i cut both corner light of a ef hatch to use for the city light sockets. ![]() then drill a hole in the part pictured below and notch out for it to screw in. ![]() here a pic of the whole socket installed with holes drilled in the bootom for the wire to go through. heres the bottom of the light with the wires coming out and female conecters attached. ![]() i chose to use amber corner lights and amber city lights to this. the male connectors will attatch to the females and are wired into the running lights. ![]() here are the light all done, re glued and polished. ![]() all installed and finished pics. ![]() ![]() i know im not that good at doing any kind of writeup but this was my best try. any questions post them up.

Just found this, sorry for bumping such an old thread, but this is a sweet write-up. Yet another cool headlight modification.
