I read somewhere that if you equip an aftermarket steering wheel to your car such as Momo or Sparco onto a car equipped with airbags in the steering wheel that it would be illegal to drive on the street.

More Only for Offroad use bullshizzle.

Anyone get hassled by the cops for it? I live in Cali.

you are allowed to have a dealer deactivate the airbags so i don't see why it would be illegal

Momo ITR wheel, aftermarket? No airbag and OEM = no hassle by the man.

hey bro, i live in cali, well riverside and i commute to san diego to the navy base and ive never had a problem even going through the base gates which the cops watch. Youll be fine its not a big deal, just tell them your uncomfortable with airbags cuz i dunno say i fat chick sat one your face once and it scared you for life haha.
