whats a good way to get primer off a carbon fiber roof for a delsol with out messing up the clear coat

no guarantees but your best bet is paint thinner, if its a good clear coat paint thinner wont hurt it

You're probably going to want to re-clear it again anyway, so you might as well just use sandpaper.

Why was it covered with primer to begin with?
