Hahaha, I still think it's ok, When I get it outta my garage then I'll get better pics and show you guys. And sleepergtx and khrisb, do you have an EG cause I musta done a damn good job if you can't tell. I also never liked it with the inner taillights shaved. I need "reception" so I'm not shaving the antenna just yet, maybe Ill get one of those shortys lookin ones. Rain rails, just no, well maybe. And I'm ok at customizing shit, well I see imperfections, they're not that noticabale "now" but they're there, and i can say that car isn't leavin that garage till they're all fixed.

i did own an EG hatch, and i must say shaving anything except the antenna, and side mouldings looks like ass IMO.
did you weld a plate in there? is it all just bondo? if it is, be careful. last thing you want is to be driving down the street and BAM all that work just fell off the back of your car. thats a big hole to just fill with bondo and fiberglass. __________________

I Didnt fill it, I just fiberglassed over it, then bondo, sanded it down, a little bit of cardboard, 4 more layers of fiberglass and then some more bondo. And its strong enough that its not comin off with just drivin down the street, maybe if I had a Dadge Ram 1500 hit me from behind it would break.

O I mainly did it cause it was rusted bad and I decided to go custom. Si I just grinded off the rusted areas and fiberglassed it up. I know it woulda been easier to just go the the junkyard and buy a used hatch, but I NEEDED that custom look even more. What do you expect from a Jerseyboy

I stood in my garage staring at it for like 5 minutes and it was work every second I worked on it, defenitly not that picture though. i also shaved my license plate holder, in the process of the door handles, side moldings, antenna, and the inner trunk lights, im shaving off and putting in the 97 eclipse reverse lights, i think shaved is really clean looking, and people are like yo, whats so different about your car i cant point it out, r33 front bumper, m3 side skirts and buddy club rear, and the exterior is a wrap, nice simple white paint job with some pearl in it and bam, sick looking car, no rice

Don't shave the inner tails, IMO it looks like ass that y i didnt do it. I havent gotten arount to the antenna, but i did the handles and moldings, I think if you have a hatch just put some s2k tails in it and mold the hatch it.

I did mave the liscense plate "into" the bumper. I made a fiberglass mold for it and molded it into the left side. It looks ok. but not perfect..yet
