Default EK fog/driving lights- clear + yellow?

alright so I'm sick of looking at my yellow fogs when they're off but I like that they light up yellow. Is there any way to get yellow bulbs in the clear housings?

if you can get clear lenses, then yeah you can definitely get yellow bulbs. i think they are H3 bulbs, and ive definitely seen them in yellow.

They aren't driving lights, they're fog lights.

Your driving lights are mounted in the same bit as your turn signals.

The second post told you what the deal was.

The bulb has a yellow coating.

You mean, replaced the light bulbs in the OEM EK fog lights?

You'll have to take the bumper off, then pull the light housings out. Then there will be a couple screws on the back of the light housing. Open it up, and carefully pull the bulb out. In your case, they will probably be white/clear. (In mine, they were blue tinted.)

Replace with (h1 I think) new yellow bulbs, and seal them back up, paying careful attention to the stupid FX**#$ing clip, and the rubber seal ring around the back.

Put them back on the car, and enjoy.

They will look yellow if you catch the right angle on them while they're off, but I think this is the effect you're going for.
