Default Help! Mugen Lip Install Problems...

Has anybody ever installed a Mugen-style lip on a 94-97 Integra?

It's an ABS plastic lip from jdmshit.com, and it seems like it's a bit too short; the ends of it won't wrap around the ends of the bumper like they should. I did do some research and it seems like this is a fairly common issue. I've read stuff about how people have stretched them out and what-not, but no really specific instructions or pictures. I was hoping maybe somebody on here had done one before and could let me know if there's some kind of trick to it.

Any advice or suggestions?

Does it wrap around the OEM bumper or just bolt on underneath it?

If it wraps around the bumper, make sure the inside edges of the lip are not bumpy or have big plastic chunks.

Yeah, it wraps around the edges of the bumper and then you screw it inside the wheel well. Thanks for the tip. I'll take it off this weekend and see if there's anything that I can shave off. Also, I called jdmshit and they said to lay it out in the sun for a few hours and hopefully that will make the plastic a little more malleable, so I guess I'll try that as well.

Thanks for the help dude.
