Post How to Remove Window Tint.

The Proper way:

Materials Needed:
1. Razor Blade
2. Spray Bottle
3. Scent Free Amonia (this can be picked up at any dollar store)
4. Black Garbage bag (this can be picked up at any dollar store) (MUST be black)
5. Water
6. Sunlight

Procedure:

1. Take the razor blade and along the edge of the tint. (only peel back the edges of the tint)
2. Take the trash bag and cut along the edges making it one big sheet.
3. Fill the spray bottle with water and spray the water onto the OUTSIDE of the window.
4. Place the sheet of trash bag across the window. (the water is to help the bag stick to the window)
5. Take the razor blade and cut the trash bag to the size of the window.
6. Empty the spray bottle of water.
7. Take the Scent Free Amonia and put it into the spray bottle.
8. Spray the Amonia on the INSIDE (onto the tint)
9. Immediately after, place the pre-cut trash bag onto the amonia/tint.
10. The ammonia will dry up quick, so if you have to, spray the window again right before you put the bag onto it..
11. Take a card (credit card, I.D., or if you have one... a squeegie) and go across the trash bag very lightly to get all the wrinkles out (if you press too hard you'll rip it)
12. Let it sit in the sun.
13. Keep putting your hand onto the window to feel how hot it is.... when it gets to the point where you put your hand on the window and it bought burns you then this is when you want to start peeling it off.
14. Grab the edge of the trash bag AND the edge of the tint and start to pull it off.... GO SLOW

Back Window Defrosters:

DO NOT take the razor blade and start hacking at the tint... you WILL mess up the defrosters.

1. Take the razor blade and go around the edge of the whole window.. pulling up the edge of the window tint...
2. Then go around the edges of the defrosters (yes, it will take some time)
3. Then repeat steps 2-14 above..

Hope this could be of any help!!

If you followed the instructions correctly then there will be NO glue residue left on the window...

any questions PM me..

If it's on the outside, just use a razor.
